"Inspiring the next generation through energy" in Irshava

Tomorrow, February 12, at 11.00 at the District house of children's art at the city of Irshava, Gagarin st. 9, there will be the starting conference on the project "Inspiring future generations through energy."

The purpose of the starting conference is to present objectives, activities and expected results of the project, as well as to inform the public of six towns of Transcarpathia about the problems of low energy efficiency and ways to address this issue.

"Inspiring future generations through energy" is funded by the Mission of the European Union in Ukraine within the program for support of Ukraine's energy strategy in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy. The total budget of the project is over 2 million hryvnias.

The main objective of the project is to promote energy efficiency in educational institutions of Ukrainian towns. The specific objectives of the project are: the introduction of energy-efficient heating in the kindergarten № 1 in Irshava and improving the management of energy efficiency projects implementation by civil servants in six towns of district subordination in Transcarpathian region.

The Executor of the Project is the "Perekhresni zvyazky" NGO.

The Partner of the Project is Irshava City Council.
