Communists want to bring back death penalty

Communists Petro Symonenko, Igor Alekseev and Igor Kaletnyk registered in the parliament a bill to bring back the death penalty. Details of the document proposing to introduce the death penalty as a form of punishment: № 2128 dd. 30.01.2013, reported the Korrespondent. The explanatory note to the document is not available on the site.

Remember, these same MPs in 2011 and 2010, already suggested to return the death penalty, but then only 32 MPs voted for the bill.

The document provided for the establishment of death penalty as capital punishment, which applies in the case of serious crimes, including - drug smuggling, bribery.

The "Svoboda" party in 2009 proposed to return death penalty for crimes committed against the nation and against the state.
