Regional Council Chairman Ivan Baloha proposed to the expert committee on universities licensing to consider the concept of Mukachevo State University.

January 24, there was the meeting of the expert committee on universities licensing, which had received for consideration from Mukachevo State University the concept of licensing the activities to provide educational services in two areas of training: "Museology and Protection of Monuments of History and Culture" (educational qualification - "Bachelor", licensed number of students - 30 persons) and "Professional Education. Design (modeling, design and fashion design)" (educational qualification - "Bachelor". licensed number of students - 30 persons).

But MSU was denied of the approval of concepts. Because of such decision of the expert committee, Mukachevo State University is unable to submit to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine the documents necessary for opening of these much-needed specialties.

Regional Council Chairman Ivan Baloha appealed on this issue to the head of the Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda with a petition to intervene and provide professional review of the Mukachevo State University concepts of licensing the areas of training: "Museology and Protection of Monuments of History and Culture" and "Professional Education. Design (modeling, design and fashion design)."
