Another candidate quit the election campaign in favor of the opposition candidate

Yesterday we reported that at the election to the regional council the candidate Yuri Staso had withdrawn his cadidacy in favor of the united opposition nominee Ivan Biben. Today it was announced that the candidate from the party "People's Labour Union of Ukraine" in the 51st constituency, the executive secretary of the public association "My city - Uzhgorod" Kostyantin Kutsov also announced the withdrawal of his candidacy in favor of Ivan Biben.

"Lately, in our region, such political situation has appeared that opposition candidates, competing with each other, provide additional advantages for the ruling party nominees. Therefore, after weighing my chances, I decided to stop campaigning for the mandate and urge voters to support the candidacy of Ivan Biben, the candidate of the united opposition. Ivan Biben is well known in Uzhgorod district and has considerable experience in executive bodies and local authorities. Our views on the development of Uzhgorod district are the same on many issues. Therefore, in my opinion, he will be a reliable defender of your interests in the Regional Council" - Kostyantin Kutsov said to the voters.
