Transcarpathians choose Egypt for the New Year

This is confirmed by Uzhgorod company "SKS Holidays / TUI Travel agency" who added that every year the number of Transcarpathian, wishing to celebrate the New Year holiday abroad, increases.Although, at low rates, but quite noticeably.

Typically, our countrymen at this time of the year prefer to go for vacation to the mountains, away from city hassle. In particular, to Slovakia, Poland and Austria. Hungary is also a popular during the New Year and Christmas period. Exotic Thailand and the UAE are also in demand.

On average, a bus tour to France for 6-7 nights with the celebration of the New Year will cost 200-250 euros per person, to Hungary - 150 euros, to Slovakia - 100-150 euros, tour operators say.

It is known that many Ukrainians like to rest in Transcarpathia on Christmas and New Year. And we choose for the New Year and, in general, winter holidays Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. In particular, resorts Slavs'ke and Bukovel. But the travel agency noted that the service offered there is much inferior to the European one.

Instead, the tour operator "Dream Travel" in Uzhgorod reported that this year many Transcarpathians would go to Egypt for the New Year. Usually, prices during the holidays there are increased, but not this year. Therefore, approximately, one person (7 nights, 4 stars hotel, "all inclusive") can go there for 3,500-4,000 UAH.

Tours to Budapest and Prague for New Year and Christmas holidays are also popular among our countrymen. But most Transcarpathians will celebrate this New Year without leaving the region. The explanation is simple - in the mountains there is snow, and in the villages there are traditions.
