Road inspectors urge parents to take care of the safety of their children

"Soon, the long-awaited winter holidays will begin for all students Transcarpathia. Over the year, Transcarpathian traffic police officers have been conducting thematic lessons and lectures with young pedestrians, reminding kids about the basic rules of the road alphabet.

But we would like that you, dear parents, do not overlook this important aspect for your children. Repeat with your children the basic rules of the road crossing and remind them about the danger of playing on the roadway. Sledding, skiing, skating, snowballs games - that's great, but only in yard areas. Do not forget about the short daylight hours and poor visibility - sending the child on the street make sure that the kid’s clothing has at least one bright detail or fix an optical element on the clothes. And remember, the best way to teach the rules of safe behavior on the road is your own example of compliance with the Road Traffic Regulations.

Vehicle drivers also need to pay increased attention to young pedestrians, because the child's behavior on the road is often unpredictable. So drivers should be especially careful and cautious
when driving on intersections, pedestrian crossings, public transportation stops, recreation areas and so on," – Traffic Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
