Khust bribe taking teacher will pay 100,000 UAH bail

The Court determined an alternative preventive measure against the Khust corrupted teacher – a bail of 100,000 UAH.

Initially, Khust District Court determined for the detained bribe taking teacher a preventive measure in the form of detention. However, current legislation also provides for another type of preventive measure – bail – so the court chose it as an alternative to detention.

Since this amount is significant, the detainee was not able to pay it immediately. As previously reported, December 20, police officers detained the head of the correspondence 
department of the Transcarpathian state forestry higher education institution "National Forestry University of Ukraine" and found in his office 6830 UAH received from students.
