In Uzhgorod library, there will be the most delicious Christmas tree! (PHOTOS)
In the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Library, they decided to decorate the Christmas tree with candy. By the way, it is not an ordinary Christmas tree, it is made of books. It was contrived by a librarian Lyudmyla Bobyk. Her colleague Yevheniya Napuda came up with an interesting initiative for a good cause - to offer visitors to decorate the Christmas tree with candy. Then, they will treat children with it.
"The idea came to me yesterday. In our reading room, there are three Christmas trees. Two of them are decorated, and the one that is made of books is not. So we decided to offer our readers to decorate it. The first decoration for this Christmas tree was a candy, so we had the idea to decorate this Christmas tree only with sweets" - Yevheniya said.
She says: we decided to give all collected candy to kids who are treated at Children's Hospital and cannot spend the holidays at home. "We want to deliver sweets for Christmas! Many people care for orphans in orphanages, boarding schools. And there is not a single word about those kids who have to spend their time in the hospital. We want to make a small miracle for them."
So, if you are going the library on Svoboda Avenue, be sure to take some candy!
