Today, border guards of Mukachevo detachment prevented several attempts at smuggling of hidden and forbidden items accross the state border. Thus, at the international checkpoint "Luzhanka", border guards found hidden cigarettes in two cars.
It is noteworthy that the drivers of the cars "CHRYSLER GRAND VOYAGER", citizens of Hungary chose the "green corridor" lane for the border and customs controls. However, border guards initiated in-depth inspection. As a result, in the structural cavities they found cigarettes "MARLBORO GOLD" in amount of 1,490 packs and 1,400 packs respectively. Vehicles and tobacco products were seized. The total amount in both cases reached almost 94,000 UAH.
Another stash was found by border guards at the checkpoint "Dyakove." In the car "Opel", they found 220 packs of cigarettes "Vicheroy." The total amount of the seized goods and the vehicle that was carrying it reached more than 62,000 UAH. In all cases, reports on violation of customs regulations were made.
