"Bombing" of a car in Uzhgorod turned out to be not real!
A man found a bag at the wheel of his car "Mercedes" and thought that it was a bomb...
On Tuesday, December 17, around 19.40, in Uzhgorod, law enforcement officers were urgently called to Petofi Square. The reason was the message of a 26-year-old teacher of UzhNU, the owner of the car "Mercedes", about a bomb at his car.
The enhanced investigative team arrived at the scene within minutes. Explosive experts and dog trainers were engaged. And everything was for useless...
The applicant's car was standing near the pedestrian crossing opposite the "Foxtrot" store. At the rear right wheel of the car, there was a sports bag. It was examined first by a dog, trained to detect explosives, and then by a police sapper. As it turned out, the backpack was empty and did not posed any danger...
Thus, the unfounded precaution of the Uzhgorod citizen gave extra work for law enforcement officers and caused an emergency situation in the center of Uzhgorod and the hype among people.
