The viewing of the film in Uzhgorod on the occasion of the day of solidarity with Belarusian civil society will take place today
Today is the international day of solidarity with the civil society of Belarus. In different countries, civic activists and human rights activists organize events on this occasion. August 4, 2011 is the day when one of the leading human rights activist of Belarus, the head of Human Rights Center "Vyasna" and the vice-president of the International Federation for Human Rights Oles Bilyatsky was arrested.
In Uzhgorod, at 21.00, near the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic there will be the screening of the film "Enough! To the freedom!", which depicts the events of 2010 in Minsk, after the stealing of votes. Tens of thousands of Belarusians then came out to the streets with peaceful protests hoping for truth and freedom.
The film screening will take place with the participation of the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA.
