As a result of the inspection, conducted by the prosecutors of Uzhgorod, it was found out that the Department of Minicipal Economy do not take all measures to ensure timely receipts of due amounts, including those of claim-related nature, to the budget thus violating certain requirements of the Civil and Budget Codes of Ukraine.
In particular, during 2012-2013, the Department of Municipal Economy did not initiate early termination of lease agreements for non-payment of rent, and the claims to recover the debt were filed only by prosecutor’s office of Uzhgorod.
Therefore, according to the prescription of the city prosecutor to eliminate violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Lease of State Property", the disciplinary charges were brought against the head of the legal department of the Department of Municipal Economy.
During the year, the regional courts have granted the claims of Uzhgorod prosecutors, filed on behalf of the Department of Municipal Economy, totaling over 400,000 UAH.
Currently, claims for the recovery of arrears in the payment of rent for a total of over 100,000 UAH are pending in the courts
