4 million hryvnias from the regional budget will be allocated for improvement of indoor latrines in educational institutions. Another 3.8 million hryvnias for the aforementioned purposes in 2013 are provided in the local budgets. This was discussed during the meeting of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda with the district heads, the press center of the RSA reported.

As of the beginning of August, 50 indoor latrines have been equipped in the region: 30 - in Irshava district, 8 - in Perechyn district, 5 - in Vynogradiv district, 4 - in Mizhhirya district, 2 - in Uzhgorod district, and 1 - in Khust district. In general, they plan to complete these works in 2014.

As for the construction of toilets in kindergartens, by the end of the year indoor toilets will have been installed in every preschool of the region.

Recall, a year ago, the Minister of Education said that in western Ukraine, instead of warm latrines for children, they build monuments.
