A pair of black swans have settled on the Syloamska Kupalnya lake in Shayan, the Zelene Zakarpattya reports.

Such beauty is rare in Ukraine.   This bird is not representative of the natural fauna of Ukraine. "Here such birds can be found in private collections or in zoos," - ornithologist Ludwig Potish said.

The black swan comes from Australia. It has evolutionarily formed there, and it is its natural habitat. The black swan is not a migrating bird - they do not leave their natural habitat voluntarily. Unlike mute swans, black swans have voice which they use to greet each other, while raising and lowering their heads.

This swan cry can be often heard in Transcarpathian Shayan. Two black swans inhabit the local lake - Syloamska Kupalnya.
