Independence will cost Transcarpathia 32,000 UAH (DOCUMENT)
Transcarpathia is preparing to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Independence.
Back in June, the organizing committee, headed by the Deputy Governor Ivan Kachur and the deputy council chairman Andriy Serbaylo, was created. They approved the list of events. On August 23, they plan to organize in Uzhgorod the celebration with the participation of government officials. Officials will also lay flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko, A. Voloshin, the commemorative plaque in memory of the hero of Ukraine V. Chornovil. On the same day, in the "White House" the awarding ceremony will take place. In regional churches, there will be prayers for Ukraine. In museums and libraries, there will be exhibitions of photos and archival documents on the history of Ukrainian state.
31,400 hryvnias will be allocated from the regional budget for the celebration of the Independence Day. Of that, 10,000 will be spent for manufacturing of 40 billboards, another 3,000 will be spent on greeting cards, almost 19,000 will be spent on transportation costs.
