In Uzhgorod, they want to turn a tomograph into a monument
Such a proposal was expressed at the meeting of Uzhgorod City Council by a Rotarian deputy Yaroslav Shafar during the discussion of the decision to grant Uzhgorod City Hospital permission to write off the tomograph PHILIPS TOMOSKAN LX, made in 1992, with the initial value of 2,956,172.00 UAH and wear of 2,956,172.00 UAH.
The deputy did not like that they had offered to put the scanner into scrap. This devise was a present from Danish Rotarians to the community of Uzhgorod. The deputy proposed not to put the scanner to scrap, but set it in the hospital as a memorial.
