August 10, Irshava District Police registered the relevant information in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations and initiated pre-trial investigation of the criminal proceeding on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 1 of Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional infliction of minor bodily injury).
Currently, it has been established that in the evening of August 9, the victim passing by the house of the village head came into the house to discuss with the official some personal issues. According to the testimony of the victim, the village head deliberately inflicted him injuries. Currently, a forensic examination has been appointed, which shall determine the localization, the nature and severity of injuries. The course of pre-trial investigation of the criminal proceeding is under the control of Irshava District Prosecutor’s Office
Note: Part 1 of Art.125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional infliction of minor bodily injury – punishable by a fine up to fifty tax-free minimum incomes, or community service for a period of up to two hundred hours, or corrective labor for up to one year.
