How much a mini-hydropower plant costs
Lately, PE "Komertskonsalt", which has the monopoly for construction of mini-hydropower plants in the region, has resorted to alternative PR strategy.
As the readers reported to Zakarpattya online, last Sunday, in the village of Turya Polyana, where villagers blocked the construction of the second mini-hydropower plant, representatives of the PE "Komertskonsalt" were handing out school supplies to children. "But, it is hard to call it "school supplies", more likely it was some stuff that they did not need and wanted to get rid of" - the villagers wrote.
Nevertheless, just a few days later, the local newspaper "Narodne slovo" published the "gratitude" on behalf of the village residents. They claimed that parents and children were very grateful to the PE "Komertskonsalt" for the gifts and care.
"We do not know, maybe the village council is grateful to them, but certainly not the people," - contributors, angered by such deception, said. Probably, the publication of this piece in the paper was paid for by the owners of the PE "Komertskonsalt" themselves, and neither villagers, nor even the village council employees have anything to do with that.
