The event was held as part of an integrated sports and arts festival "Stars can be reached."

For the first time the festival was held in Transcarpathia in 2010 - then at the regional level. This year the fest received an international status. Participants not only from other regions of the country, but also the volunteers and people with disabilities from Hungary, Slovakia and Poland came to Transcarpathia.Overall, about 120 participants.

Regional authorities provide all necessary assistance to create conditions to equip hotels, hospitals and transport to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Cooperation with public authorities and voluntary organizations also plays an important role:

Today, the festival participants will climb the mountain Polonyna Runa, which has become a tradition and has a deep symbolic meaning for the participants of the festival. The organizers are convinced that by implementing all the said measures, the region will ensure the improvement of the living conditions of people with disabilities, and serve as an example for other regions.
