Uzhgorod residents were reminded that thieves do not have days off.

On the eve of Easter, Uzhgorod city police department appealed to the city residents asking to take care of their property.

Dear Uzhgorod citizens! Many of you are going to spend Easter outside the city. So please, before you go, take care about protection of your property.

Unfortunately, despite numerous warnings of the police, facts of negligent attitude to protection of one's property still occur in Uzhgorod. It helps criminals, and they commit criminal trespass to property of citizens.

Remember that protection of your property depends primarily on your own. Close the windows and vents, especially if you live on the ground or top floor or in apartments, located near the fire stairs and aisles. Equip doors with secure locks and bars. Do not leave valuables or large sums of money at home.

Please note that there are no locks for a thief. So you should always ensure that the apartment is constantly watched after by neighbors and friends. Do not underestimate your property. If you have something to lose, you better take care of it.

Do not get confused in case of danger. We are always ready to come to your aid! Our phones work around the clock: Uzhgorod city police officer on duty: 102, 61-43-46.
