Uzhgorod residents do not lose optimism: public lectures on architecture

Famous architects, artists and art critics, members of the public organization "Pro Urbe", launch a series of lectures-discussions about architecture, art and urban environment, the Varosh informs.

Lectures are intended for all the city residents, who care about where and how they live, who are interested in the environment, regardless of whether Uzhgorod is their hometown or not.

The first lecture will be read by the known city architect Igor Brovdi. It's called "Architecture as Art". It is expected that the conversation will be conducted on an equal footing, regardless of the training level of a listener. In particular, during the dicussion, the lecturer together with listeners will explore what architecture is, how this art has formed and why it is an art.

The lecture-discussion will begin April 19, Friday, at 19:00 in the Culture House of Trade Unions (Ruska st., 3).

Admission is free, but you can give donations which will be spent on the organization of future lectures.
