Transcarpathian Party of Regions members did not vote for the abolition of the pension reform

Today the Parliament lacked six votes to abolish provisions of the pension reform. So, deputies were proposed to reduce the retirement age for women from 60 to 55 years. This project was supported by 220 deputies, while the required minimum was 226.

The draft was supported by 11 deputies from the Party of Regions, 91 – from the "Batkivshchyna" faction, 38 – from the UDAR, 36 – from the "Svoboda" faction, 31 – from the Communist Party and 13 unaffiliated members.

As for deputies from Transcarpathia, the abolition of the pension reform was supported by Pavlo Baloha (UC), Victor Baloha (UC), Vasyl Petyovka (UC), Valery Lunchenko (Front of Changes) and Valery Patskan (UDAR). Meanwhile, none of Transcarpathian Party of Regions members in the Ukrainian parliament supported the proposal to reduce the retirement age for women to 55 years.
