The “Skoda”, that was destroyed by fire at night on Parkhomenko street, was likely burned up deliberately

As uzhgorod.in already reported, last night in Transcarpathia two cars burned down. One of them – "Skoda Octavia" – was in the regional center, on Parkhomenko street.

Uzhgorod Prosecutors took control over the course of preliminary investigation on the grounds of criminal offense – intentional destruction of or damage to another person’s property, committed by arson (Part 2 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the deputy prosecutor of Uzhgorod Serhiy Vovkanych, April 18, around 4:00 am, Uzhgorod police were reported that in Uzhgorod a car had caught fire.

The fire completely damaged the engine and the passenger compartment of the car. Currently, the specified vehicle was removed to the Uzhgorod police impound lot.

This fact has been registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations. The prosecution of Uzhgorod keep the course of pre-trial investigation under control.
