In Transcarpathia, customs officers, deputies and school principals take bribes

According to the police reports, since the beginning of the year eight criminal proceedings in public service sphere have been opened, including two cases of bribery, the head of the police department colonel Mykola Kulitka reports.

Also they have drawn up 8 administration protocols on corruption, including ones against an inspector of Border Service, a school principal, a customs inspector, several deputies of district and local level. Three protocols have been considered by the court, and the decisions to impose fines have been taken.   

By the way, the most recent bribery case is yesterday's information about soliciting and receiving 4,000 UAH of bribe by the village head of Pushkino, in Vynogradiv district.
