Party of Regions member's son-in-law, who attacked the journalist, may be sentenced to 3 years in prison
On April 5, the Investigative Division of Velyky Berezny district police department registered the statement of the journalist Larysa Romanyuk on impediment to her journalistic activities.
On the same day the information about this fact was made in the Unified registry of pre-trial investigations, and criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 171 of the Criminal Code (intentional obstruction of journalistic activities - punishable by a fine of up to fifty free minimum incomes, or arrest for a term up to six months or restriction of liberty for a term up to three years) was initiated.
