Romanian became regional language in the village of Rakhiv district

In the village of Bila Tserkva in Rakhiv district Romanian language is recognized as regional.

This decision was adopted by Bila Tserkva village council, as said in the response to the appeal of deputy Gennady Moskal.

"According to the Law on the Principles of Language Policy, which provides the status of regional languages ​​for languages of minorities, the number of which in the region is 10 percent of the total population, at the Twelfth Session of the village council of Bila Tserkva on August 14, 2012 the decision to use the Romanian language in official and administrative documents was adopted," – said the head of the village council Gheorghe Berinde.

The response of the village head according to the law of "Kivalov-Kolesnichenko" is written in Romanian – added the press service of Moskal.
