MOE staff celebrated with explosives, dogs and special equipment.
Today, September 17, in Uzhgorod celebrations on the occasion of the Rescuer’s Day took place. Dignitaries and deputies came to greet employees of all regional fire units. Many MOE employees were awarded diplomas and gifts.
Anton Zielinski, Head of Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Transcarpathian region, Transcarpathian Regional Council member, speaking with a greeting, said that for the first time in a long time the celebration was in raw format – not in a drama theater or Philharmonic but on the parade ground. "Here we can feel that we are all one big family," – he stressed.
Also on this day the MOE museum was opened.
Celebrations continued with the concert, competitions for children and illustrative performances of dog handlers, engineers and mountain rescuers.
All guests were treated with dishes of field kitchen – porridge and bohrach.
