Petrol in Transcarpathia has risen on the average by 5%

Because of Ukraine's dependence on imports and traders' pricing, gasoline prices have increased. In total during January-August as compared to December last year, the consumer price index for A-80 gasoline increased by 6.5%, A-92 grade - by 4.5%, A-95 - by 4.6%.
Consumer prices for diesel fuel for eight months in 2012 as compared to December 2011 declined by 1.5%.
Over a period from the 5th to the 30th of August in this year retail price for one liter of A-80 petrol was 10.26 UAH, A-92 grade - 10.55 UAH, A-95 - 10.82 UAH per liter. The average cost of diesel fuel in the region in August 2012 was 9.63 UAH per liter while in August 2011 it was 9.70 UAH - said the Head of Price Statistics Department of the Central Statistical Office Edita Iordan.
