Yesterday, law enforcement officers received information from the chief of the security service of the subsidiary "Prykarpatzakhidtrans" that on the 358th kilometer of the oil pipeline owned by "Yugo-Zapad" JSC ( Samara, Russia), at a distance of 1300 m near the village of Simer an illegal tie-in pipeline had been found. The tap on it was closed, and the hose of 100 meters length was attached to the pipe.
The offenders are wanted. No oil leaks and threat to environment have been detected.
