Victor Baloha: "If the Nobel Prize were awarded to Yulia Tymoshenko - tomorrow we would wake up in a completely different country"
The politician shared his opinion on the nomination of Yulia Tymoshenko for the Nobel Prize on his page in Facebook.
"Today in Oslo the Nobel Peace Prize winner will be announced. It went to the European Union, but among the main contenders was Yulia Tymoshenko. I'm thinking about a lot of things, including the difficult period of our personal relationships. To be honest, I have not changed my mind about Tymoshenko on several issues. But this is my personal business. This is life, which has both good and bad moments.
If the Nobel Prize were awarded to Yulia Tymoshenko - tomorrow we would wake up in a completely different country. This would have a tremendous impact on the elections and foreign policy situation.
But in what situation her allies would have been? Would they be happy for Yulia Volodymyrivna?
And one more thing. Who Mrs. Tymoshenko would have to share her world recognition with? Who would then be considered a person who helped her most to be the focus of the Nobel Committee? The question is rhetorical."
