Transcarpathians will go to work at the latest because of the time shifting (VIDEO)

To catch the daylight scientists proposed an alternative: in different regions of the country to go to work at different times.

Legislators decided to reset the clocks again, this time on election day. Next Sunday - October 28 - we will jump an hour back in time. And this transition to winter time is supposed to be the last one so that the most of Ukraine remained in the second time zone.

However, it seems that scandals around the time are not going to cease any time soon. This time, the election came in the way of the final decision.

Ukraine is almost entirely in the 2nd time zone. And we live by the time of the 3rd one - as in Russia.

The globe is divided into 24 zones with respect to Greenwich. They increase up to 12 to the east and decrease to the west. The center of the second zone passes exactly through Kyiv. Only the "sides" of the country are beyond meridians: in the west - part of Transcarpathia - in the European, 1st time zone. In the east - part of Luhansk and Donetsk regions - in the 3rd, Russian zone. It is in favor of the eastern regions that they added one hour "for the summer".

October 28 we switch to winter time, and after that the clocks shoud not be reset neither forward nor backwards.

The bill of Azarov promises to reset the clocks before the election - once and forever. That is, to the "native" "Kyiv", and not "Moscow" time. The document must be approved by the chairman of the committee for science and education Maxim Lutsky. But the deputy hesitates. He says, it is not very convenient for Donetsk. Because at 5 o'clock it is already dark there.

The deputy is running for election himself. He does not need problems now.

But the sun ignores elections and stubbornly sets with one hour difference between East and West: in Lugansk it darkens today at half past five, in Kyiv at six, and in Mukachevo - at half past six.

To catch the daylight the scientists proposed an alternative: to go to work earlier. That is, in Luhansk and Donetsk - at the earliest. To properly live by local time, working day in public institutions in Kyiv must begin at 8 o'clock. Working day in the east must begin at 7 o'clock, or 7:30. Working day in Lviv and Transcarpathia can start at 8:30 or 9 o'clock.
