Office of Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region begins the inspection of parking lots, which are situated within the road network of cities and settlements.
Special attention will be paid to their locations, schemes of traffic, road signs and markings, availability of places for the disabled and their respective designations. If there are violations of parking rules, including parking outside the lot and at an angle to the street roadway in violation of traffic rules, the Inspectorate will take measures of administrative influence to the relevant officials and drivers.
Since there are no parking lots equipped with machines for paid parking of vehicles in the region, during the inspections, special attention will be paid to the observance of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 1342 on the prohibition of charging for parking on such lots – reports Office of Traffic Police of MIA of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
