Recycling of solid waste will be regulated by the National commission for utilities. The appropriate bill was passed by the parliament in the second reading. Another document, approved by the parliament, obligates people to pay for the recovery and recycling of waste.
Thus, the regulator will form pricing and tariff policy and continually monitor the situation on the processing and recycling market.
According to the publication Ukraina comunalna, the project No. 10501 obligates consumers to conclude contract for waste removal with a legal person which provides such services in the community. It is assumed that the Ukrainians will pay not only for the removal of waste, but separately for the treatment and disposal thereof.
