Starting from January 1, some of the Ukrainian may not be allowed to Turkey

Foreign Ministry warns: starting from January 1, 2013 the Turkish border gaurds will deny entry to Ukrainians, whose documents have no place for affixing stamps of the border crossing.

As you know, as of August 1, 2012 the citizens of Ukraine have the right to enter the territory of the Republic of Turkey without visas, provided that the period of their intended stay in Turkey does not exceed 30 days. Such passengers crossing the border of Turkey have stamps (entry – exit) affixed in their passports, CP informs.

If there is no place in a passport for a stamp, the Turkish border issue special card, where the relevant data on border crossings are entered. However, this practice will exist only until 31 December 2012. Starting from January 1, foreigners whose documents have no place for a stamp will be denied to enter the territory of Turkey.
