Smolanka withdrew his candidacy in favor of Chuchka
Volodymyr Smolanka withdrew his candidacy for the elections to the Verkhovna Rada. The candidate in the constituency number 68 told this personally at the press conference in the press center "Transcarpathia". Smolanka withdrew his candidacy in favor of Pavlo Chuchka, who, according to numerous polls, is leading in the constituency.
"We met repeatedly during the campaign and it turned out that our positions are similar. This is not surprising, since we know each other for many years. We share the vision on the future of Transcarpathia and Ukraine. We see our country as part of Europe. This is what we aspire to. We believe that we can not allow that the deputy, who does not share these values, go to the parliament. So today I made a political decision and I want to announce it. I am withdrawing my candidacy in favor of Pavlo Chuchka and want to support him as the candidate in the constituency number 68."
