Russia wants to ban driving on its territory with Ukrainian license

The problem of a large number of accidents in Russia will be solved, among other ways, by prohibiting the use of driver's licenses issued abroad. This was reported by the deputy chief of the Traffic Police of Russia Dmitry Zheltenkov, informs UBR.

According to him, the highest percentage of accidents is caused by drivers of buses and minibuses."The Traffic Police tries to solve this problem by introducing legislative ban on the use of foreign driving licenses by drivers, who work in the Russian transportation companies. After the introduction of this law they will have to obtain Russian national driver's license "- said D. Zheltenkov.

In addition, the representative of the Traffic Police raised the topic of training and testing of drivers.
