Premiere of the film "Synevyr" will be held in January next year
The work on the first Ukrainian 3D horror film titled "Synevyr" is in its final stage. The film, the premiere of which has been postponed several times, will be released in January - said the film's director, Oleksandr Alyoshechkin.
According to him, the story is a classic horror film. The company of young people decided to spend the night on the banks of the Synevyr. But at dusk a mystical spirit hangs over the picturesque lake and a mysterious howling comes from the darkness. None of the tourists knows that in this place a mystical monster Pesyholovets lives who lures his victims into the forest, from which nobody has returned alive and unharmed.
"We set the events of the film at the end of the 70s of the twentieth century to create a special atmosphere of that time - cars, songs, clothes ... Also we wanted to get away from the ill-fated mobile phones that appear in virtually every modern film, and once some horrors begin, the connection always disappears. This is naive ..." - said Alyoshechkin.
The budget of the future film is $ 800,000 provided by private investors. The crew consisted of film professionals and locals. The foreign specialists provided the "monster." The monster was delivered from Russia specifically for this film.
