On election day, the Transcarpathian police received 24 calls
According to the official website of the Transcarpathian office of the MIA, during the 28th of October the police of the region received 24 applications and appeals on violation of election laws. 16 allegations concerned bribery of voters. Policemen prepared 2 administrative reports. This was reported by the head of the investigation department Serhiy Rosokha. There is no sufficient evidence of violations by bribing voters, most applications related to suspicions, and therefore the further legal prospect of these statements is unlikely.
The protection of polling stations in Transcarpathia was carried out by 1650 police officers. Generally the election in the region has been without gross violations.
