In Uzhgorod officers of the Department for Economic Crimes detained deputy mayor Vitaliy Semal

In afternoon Vitaliy Semal was summoned to interrogation and has not been released.

The decision about the arrest will be taken within three days. Deputies of the Uzhgorod City Council wrote an appeal to law enforcement authorities, with a request to replace arrest with other precautions.

Detention of Semal surprised everyone at the Poshtova sq., because there he is known as an honest man who has fulfilled his duties and has not been involved in the various schemes. 

Vitaliy Semal deals with the city utilities, maintenance of engineering network, road repairs and landscaping.
