Four Afghans were detained by border guards in the mountains

Yesterday border guards of the Chop detachment stopped two attempts to illegally cross the border.
Thanks to proactive information received from local residents, four men were arrested near the state border. At the time of arrest the offenders did not have any documents that could certify their identities and called themselves the citizens of Afghanistan.

Also the detainees confirmed to border guards their intention to illegally get to Slovakia, from where, in the future, they were planning to get to France.

And a few hours earlier the same border guard unit detained a man and a woman, citizens of Ukraine, who tried to illegally get to Slovakia outside the checkpoint. The detainees told that they were siblings and were heading to work to Italy.
In both cases, the perpetrators were brought to the stations to clarify the circumstances of the offense and make administrative and procedural documents. Now they expect the court decision, which will determine their punishment - repored the Assistant Chief of Border Guard Detachment - head of the press service Major Roman Pavlenko.
