U.S. dollar on the interbank market as of 12:20 is traded in a range of 8,1970-8,2100 UAH / USD. This is a new peak for the last few years, while National Bank yesterday entered the market with interventions by selling dollars at the rate of 8.05 UAH / USD.
Note that recent dollar increases have been due to massive purchase of currency by the population in connection with the elections in Ukraine. In September, the net purchase of currency by the population increased by 2.5 times – up to $ 1.8 billion.
According to the "InterBusinessConsulting" company, this morning dollar trading opened in the range 8,1890-8,1930 UAH / USD.
