Customs have given 1 billion 100 million hryvnias to the Transcarpathian budget
In a little more than 9 months of this year Chop customs collected 1 billion 187 million UAH, of which 1.1 billion have been allocated to regional budget of Transcarpathia. Today, 26 October, this was reported by the chief of the Customs Chop Oleksandr Pohylko at the press conference he held together with his colleague - Head of Michalovce Customs Administration Milan Kachurik.
Oleksandr Pohylko also said that this year 1.3 million citizens, 952,000 vehicles, including 2,000 passenger train cars, 368,000 freight train cars, 466,000 passenger cars, 8, 5000 buses, 98,000 trucks have crossed the Ukrainian-Slovak border at the 5 checkpoints.
529 million hryvnias worth of goods have been exported, 312 million worth of goods have been imported. This year, on this stretch of the border 433 cases of violation of customs legislation have been recorded, the cost of items that have not passed the customs amounts to 11.7 million. Four criminal cases over smuggling for 645 thousand hryvnias have been initiated. Most offenders were among the citizens of Ukraine - 233 cases, Slovaks violated 104 times, citizens of other countries - 106 times.
