Starting from September 1, the finalist of "The Voice" television show Angelina Monyak from Uzhgorod have been presenting weather forecast on "Tonis" TV channel.
For Angelina it is the first experience on television, and the first as a presenter. "Working on the Tonis channel gives me the opportunity to work and study in Kyiv. I believe that the Ukrainian opera singing school is the best basis to shape myself as a professional," – said Angelina, who during the show almost became a student of the conservatoire at the Mariinsky Theater, in St. Petersburg (Russia). The girl herself was dreaming about European scene and studying in Italy.
"We want to develop this project using unique features of Angelina, because she is a very talented girl, – said the general director of Tonis TV channel Oleksandr Butko.
The program is aired 5 times a day and provides information about the weather conditions in Ukraine, as well as at the resorts of Ukraine and the world.
21-year-old Angelina Monyak was born in Uzhgorod worker family. Since early childhood, she imagined herself as a singer on stage. Later specialists found out that she really had coloratura mezzo-soprano. At 19, she began studying singing professionally in Uzhgorod music college. In early 2012 Angelina took part in the national singing show on 1 +1 channel, where she ranked second.
