Last night, around 05:00, at the international border crossing point "Uzhgorod" a citizen of Hungary tried to test the attentiveness of the border guards and customs inspectors.

The Hungarian, who was going to Slovakia in a car "Mercedes", deliberately chose a lane with a simplified border and customs control. But some factors and agitated behavior of the driver pointed to the fact that this car could be used to carry prohibited items or substances across the border. Thus the driver of the "Mercedes" could not avoid a joint inspection of the car by border guards and customs officials.

Soon law enforcement officers' suspicions were confirmed: in a specially made cache in the fuel tank of the car they found 400 packs of cigarettes of various brands. The man recognized the found cigarettes as his property.

In addition to the found cigarettes, the driver's car will also be seized. Currently, the value of the seized property is being established, - reported the press-service of the Chop border detachment.
