1650 policemen will guard elections in Transcarpathia
"We are entering the final stage of the election campaign. In the region there are 805 polling stations, 15 special ones, 12 of them are in Uzhgorod," - said the head of the Office of the Ministry pf Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region Victor Rusin at a press conference on the training of officers for the elections.
As of October 20 all personnel has been in robust security regime. Operational headquarters have been formed. In the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there is also the headquarters, which receives information from the districts to respond.
Yesterday ballot papers were delivered to 4 TEC. They are protected by the police. To ensure order on October 28, 1650 police officers will be engaged to monitor the order at polling stations.
Special investigative teams have also been formed. There will be 39 such groups. They will respond not only to violations but also to all events in the region.
