Transcarpathian prosecutors need to get rid of professional conservatism

Nov. 16, at the Prosecutor's Office of Transcarpathian Region there was the training seminar on "Basic aspects of organizing the work on the statistics, keeping the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations and supervision of accounting criminal offenses at prosecutors' offices of all levels."

The introduction of a unified register is provided by the new Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine. The main "holder" of the Register - the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Security Service of Ukraine, and Tax Service has developed Regulations on the order of keeping the unified document.

From now on criminal investigations will begin with entering data to the Register, informs the press service of the regional prosecutor's office. Additionally, the information about criminal offenses, the consequences of their investigation and the persons, who committed them, will be recorded in the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations. "Therefore, prosecutors should leave professional conservatism and doubts behind and become leaders of modern approaches to the organization of work" - a quote from the report.
