The Party of Region have made the first move to replace the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council
Today, November 16, at the beginning of the regional council meeting, the Party of Regions members made the first move to remove from office the chairman of the council Ivan Baloha.
In particular, the former chief of the Office of the Ministry of Emergencies in Transcarpathia Miroslav Shcherbey said, referring to Ivan Baloha, that it would be fair for him, since he had lost the elections to Verkhovna Rada in the constituency where he had been elected to the regional council, to step down from the office in the parliament. Also Shcherbey ironically appealed to the fact that Baloha in the election campaign declared European values. In response to this Ivan Baloha quietly thanked and moved on to consider the issues raised at the session.
