The delegation from Russia arrived in Transcarpathia

On Wednesday, November 28, head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda met with the delegation from the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district - Ugra (Russian Federation). Also, the meeting was attended by the First Deputy Head of the region Ivan Kachur, heads of the departments of the Regional State Administration.
It is not the first visit of the Russian delegation in Transcarpathian region. So the neighboring state representatives know some aspects of the development of the region. This time the delegation aims to familiarize themselves with the work on youth, social policy, develop cultural and educational ties.
- We are pleased to receive in our Carpathian land such a large delegation. I hope that you will learn in detail the issues you care about the most. This will allow access to the practical level in our cooperation in cultural, educational or other areas - said Oleksandr Ledyda.
Representatives of the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district during the roundtables to be held today and tomorrow will discuss with representatives of the structural units of the regional administrations and NGOs the issues regarding education, culture, development of national minorities, etc., - informs the press-center of the RSA.
