The criminal who organized smuggling of drugs, while being in custody, received 10 years in prison

November 21, Uzhgorod City Court sentenced the 35-year-old organizer of smuggling of drugs to 10 years in prison, and the perpetrators of this crime - to 9 and 2 years, respectively.
According to the chief prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region Oleksandr Andryshyn, the organizer of the crime was a 35-year-old native of Lviv K., who had been previously twice convicted (for hooliganism and trafficking of persons across borders).
The eccentricity of the crime is that the man organized smuggling of drugs while being in the Carpathian PI № 9 (he was detained for another offense) and instructed the performers by phone. Two persons of Roma nationality in August 2010, at the direction of K., purchased in Hungary almost 16 grams of cocaine. They tried to carry this dangerous drug across the border into Ukraine, but were exposed by the officers of the Secutity Service of Ukraine and customs - informed the press service of the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region.
