In Transcarpathia the program of education development by 2022 has been approved

Today, Regional Council approved the program of education development of Transcarpathia for the years 2013 - 2022. Also elected representatives recommended the district and city councils to adopt respective programs and provide funds for their implementation. For the regional program for the next nine years it has been proposed to allocate nearly 188 million hryvnias. 

The program provides an annual award for the intellectual potential of Transcarpathia.  Also graduates who receive at the external testing the maximum 200 points on the subject, and the winners of the Phase IV of Ukrainian students contest in academic subjects, will be awarded annually, and bonuses to the teachers who prepare them will be provided. 

It is planned to create a network of after-school educational institutions - local small students academies. For children with disabilities and children who are on long-term treatment a distance learning system will be created. Also they plan to open system of websites of all schools to publish the best educational achievements. The program also provides for electronic learning tools - digital libraries, virtual laboratories, e-books - informed the press service of the regional council.
